Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are a brilliant option for people of all ages to develop their careers in a range of exciting areas or upskill at various levels. You get hands-on training and also the chance to put your skills into practice.
We have two collaborative Institute of Leadership and Management Apprenticeships as well as a huge range of other exciting career pathway apprenticeships from across all our partners.
What the CWE Apprenticeship projects are
- Leadership and Management Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship (Level 3 – A ‘Level equivalent)
- Leadership and Management Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship (Level 5 – Foundation Level equivalent)
The Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship is aimed for those who are in an existing team leader or in a first time manager role or are aspiring to be.
The Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship is aimed for those on more established line manager roles and looking to further develop/ career development.
The apprenticeships are a joint collaboration between the University of Bradford and Bradford College who have worked together to design a bespoke programme. This is now being rolled out to Bradford Council and other partners such as Shipley and Keighley College’s workforces.
There are many benefits of undertaking a collaborative apprenticeship and at the end of your apprenticeship you will have developed stronger networks and be able to create innovative ideas when problem solving. At the same time, you will understand how different organisations work and connect as part of a system.
Not only will you be upskilled but you will feel supported in your career development, grow in confidence as your skills develop, and be able to focus on finding your own opportunities for growth. You will learn in different ways as there are a whole range of ways to connect, learn and develop through this collaborative apprenticeship, in addition to the formal learning setting.
