The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with women who work in very senior leadership roles within the health and social care sector.
The event provided a facilitated conversation where participants were able to ask questions, discuss and debate. The aim was to help inspire individuals, challenge organisational practice and ultimately to help attendees to navigate the next steps in their career journeys. This session was part of the Act as One Festival that took place in spring 2021.
The session was chaired by Professor Shirley Congdon from the University of Bradford. Shirley was the first female Vice-Chancellor for the University and is keen to help ensure that there is more support provided to aid more women into senior leadership roles.
The panel consisted of women and men who work in senior roles across the health and social care sector in Bradford district and Craven. They shared their advice and ‘top tips’ with the next generation of female leaders.
